The APLA is not only involved in the activities of printing and publishing of books and journals but also in furnishing information through correspondence for the smooth running of various Libraries. Itis ever willing to solve any issues or problems that libraries encounter in their day-to-day work. It extends its cooperation to those who wish to establish libraries by making them aware of the norms, bye laws, registration procedures to be followed, registers to be maintained, books to be procured and so on. It plays an active role in getting the books and magazines donated by the public to the Libraries. Not only does the APLA fall in step with the tremendous changes that are coming up in Library management but it also makes all other Libraries to follow them by conducting necessary training programmes from time to time
